You can switch the editing mode between “Plain text” and “WYSIWYG”. If the font formatting toolbar isn't active (grayed out) then you are editing in the “Plain text” mode. The WYSIWYG mode enables you to see any HTML formatting that has been added to the survey.
To change the mode, click the Switch between… button as shown in the figure below.
Note that when copying and pasting from MS Word, if you are using the WYSIWYG mode then any font formatting used in the original document is kept in the translation module. If you want to apply the survey’s formatting to the pasted text, it is therefore recommended that you work in the translator module’s “Plain text” mode.
When using Unicode languages (i.e. Double Byte character sets, for example Japanese etc.), you are also advised to work in the translator module’s “Plain text” mode when pasting.
